A game for
curious minds.
A familiar map can still surprise you.
Far flung Game is an independent geography game inspired by Farflung. You answer five country clues, placing one pin for each, and collect distance for correct answers. Less obvious selections can earn a higher editorial rating.
This website is not affiliated with the original game or its creators. The implementation was written independently after studying the original game’s public interface and front-end behaviour. It uses its own question bank and daily selection, so the original game’s answers and scores may differ.
Three ways to explore
Daily Expedition keeps a shared five-clue ritual. Unlimited shuffles our geography clues into repeatable untimed journeys. Capital Quest adds a separate capital-to-country quiz drawn from 197 country records, with 100 km for each correct answer. These two extra modes keep their results in the current session and leave daily records untouched.
Our questions and ratings
The first edition contains 30 independently assembled prompts covering country names, capitals, regions, land neighbours and size. Answer sets are derived from a versioned geographic dataset. Each prompt defines its scope, and the end-of-game answer list links to the atlas source.
Ratings are editor-assigned for the challenge. They are not measured popularity percentages. We do not collect player answers on a server or publish a global leaderboard.
