The daily Far flung Game brings five shared clues, a ticking clock and a fresh expedition at midnight UTC. Build your daily log and country passport.
5 rounds · 60s per clueFive shuffled geography clues with no timer. Finish a journey, review the answers and set out again as often as you like.
5 rounds · No timerRead a capital city, then pin its country. Five countries per journey, 100 km per correct answer and no time pressure.
5 rounds · No timerA daily clue might ask for a landlocked country, a region or a name ending. Several countries can fit. In Capital Quest, a capital city points to one country.
Drag and zoom the world map, then tap a country. Check the selected name and press Drop pin. Move your selection freely until you submit; each round allows one answer.
Your answer adds distance to a pixel landscape. After five rounds, open the clues at camp to see every valid answer and tap a country for a geography fact.
In Daily Expedition and Unlimited, a correct country earns between 40 and 100 km. The challenge is to find a less obvious answer that still fits the rule.
These are the fixed tutorial’s ratings. Daily and Unlimited ratings depend on their own clues. Our ratings are editorial choices, not live player popularity.
Wrong answer or timeout: 0 km.
Five top answers: 500 km.
Turn city knowledge into map knowledge. This capital quiz gives you a city such as Nairobi and asks you to locate its country, Kenya. Place your pin anywhere inside the correct country; you do not need to pinpoint the city.
Capital Quest in Far flung Game draws from 197 country records. Each journey asks about five different countries. Every correct answer earns 100 km, with no rarity tiers and no clock.
Start with country names visible, then hide them in the menu to practise recognising locations from their outlines. Review the correct country at camp before your next journey.
Keep exploring the world map after your daily expedition, without waiting for tomorrow. Each new journey shuffles five clues from our 30-question geography bank. There is no countdown, so you can study coastlines, zoom into small countries and think through the clue.
Far flung Game keeps Unlimited separate from your daily expedition. These sessions do not change your daily score, log or passport. Questions do not repeat within a journey, but can return in later sessions.
Get comfortable with the map first. Then open the expedition menu before a new journey to hide selected country names or remove border lines. Your next guess will depend more on coastlines, relative position and memory.
The daily Far flung Game also offers a 30-second clock in place of the usual 60 seconds. Unlimited, Capital Quest and the tutorial stay untimed. Settings are fixed for a journey once it begins.

Far flung Game turns a short geography trivia session into a record you can revisit. The daily expedition saves your progress in this browser, including an unfinished round. Finishing today’s game unlocks your answer review and a spoiler-free result to copy and share.
Your passport counts distinct correct countries from saved daily journeys, so finding the same country twice does not add two stamps. The browser retains up to 90 daily records; there is no account or cross-device sync.
Clearing site data clears your record. Unlimited and Capital Quest are temporary sessions and start fresh after a reload.

About our atlas and question bank ↗Yes. The game on farflunggame.org is free and requires no account or download. Choose Daily Expedition, Unlimited or Capital Quest. The one-clue tutorial is also free.
A new five-prompt set becomes available at midnight UTC. Everyone on this site receives the same set for that date. An expedition already in progress keeps its original date and questions.
The round earns 0 km, even if you placed a pin without submitting it. Opening the menu, changing tabs or refreshing the page does not stop the clock. The next round starts when you press Onward.
In Daily Expedition and Unlimited, correct answers have one of five editorial ratings: Common (40 km), Uncommon (55 km), Rare (70 km), Elusive (85 km) or Farflung (100 km). These ratings belong to this edition’s question bank and do not use live player statistics. Capital Quest uses a fixed 100 km for every correct country.
You get one expedition per UTC date in this browser. Past Week lets you play the seven most recent dates. Unlimited and Capital Quest offer repeatable five-round journeys with no timer. The tutorial repeats one fixed clue. These modes do not use your daily attempt or enter your expedition log.
Daily progress, completed scores and preferences are saved in this browser when local storage is available. Unlimited and Capital Quest are temporary sessions; reloading starts them over. Progress does not sync to another device. Clearing site data removes it; private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving.

The score measures your expedition reward, not the physical distance from your pin to a city. In Daily and Unlimited, each correct country receives an editorial rating worth 40–100 km. In Capital Quest, any pin inside the correct country earns 100 km.
